Sunscreen Recipe

Note! Follow the grams recipe. The imperial measurements are an approximation so one can have a sense of how much of each ingredient is needed.

Ingredients

43 grams beeswax
43 grams shea butter
41 grams coconut oil
29 grams zinc oxide
~10 drops of essential oil, to taste

1 1/2 oz beeswax
1 1/2 oz shea butter
1 1/2 oz coconut oil
1 oz zinc oxide
~10 drops of essential oil, to taste

Directions

  1. Melt the beeswax, shea butter and coconut oil together over a double boiler
  2. Remove from heat allow to cool to 120°F.
  3. Stir in zinc oxide and mix thoroughly to distribute.
  4. Pour 2.7 ounces [77] of the mixture into each deodorant container (or into silicone molds if that is what you are using.)
  5. Let cool completely.

Yield: 5 1/2 ounces Total Yield, 156 grams Total Yield
