Donna Trabithik’s Grandma Honey Raisin Cookies

INGREDIENTS

PAN PREPARATION
– Grease a rimmed baking sheet
– Set a rack in the upper shelf of your oven
– Preheat your oven to 375°F

Ingredients
3/4 cup honey
3/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup butter
1 large egg
2 cups sifted flour, 240 grams
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 cups uncooked rolled oat, such as Quaker Old Fashioned
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon cinnamon


PREP STEPS

  • Cream the honey, sugar, butter and egg
  • Sift together the flour, salt, cinnamon and baking soda.
  • Stir into creamed mixture
  • Add rolled oats and raisins
  • Drop by heaping teaspoonfuls onto a greased baking sheet
  • Bake on the upper shelf of oven – 375°F for 12 to 14 minutes
  • This recipe makes about 14 dozen
